The Promise had finally aired! I hope you guys enjoyed the film…
I have received a lot of positive comments in regards to this film and I had read every single one of them. From the bottom of my heart, thank you. I’m really touched that you guys like what we did and makes me feel that all our hard work was worth it.
There were also a lot of questions on whether if there will be a repeat telecast or if there will be a DVD release. At this moment, I really can’t be sure. However, the producers have mentioned that if you guys really want it, email Channel U and ask for it! it is very common for celebs to date nowadays. they are also humans and need love as much as we do. we should wish for the best for them. in life it is tough already to find a soul mate and if you do find one, do grab hold of them! age does not matters, it is the communication and chemistry that is important. i do hope that lawrence and julie can be together in reality as they are a great match! believe me when you find someone who is a good match from your birth chart point of view, you will enhance each other’s luck automatically! carpe diem!

I thought the letter means that once wenyuan was ready both mentally and finacially,he could go back for shan shan.to take over the mother’s role as the sun.. hehe.. (:
actually it’s an open ending… the director wants the audience to have their own take. my own take is that they weren’t together. actually we shot another ending that included shan shan but were being cut off. hopefull it will be included in the DVD should there be one. :)
so am i right to say that at the end of the show when wenyuan looked at a certain direction and he was smiling at someone, he was actually looking at shan shan? they cut off the portion where shan shan appeared?
yup. :) the ending is actually even more sad.
i am getting more curious now. are you able to share with us what was the ending that they have cut off? if you can’t its okay, they may want to put it in the dvd.
just show shan shan standing at a corner n smiling. :) haha

the Sun Palace is in Spore. We shot it in a place in Bt Timah… But of course we got to dress the place up by putting in the swing, the sunflowers etc.
heyy there! :) i went to see the sunflower field at thailand before, and i love sunflower since young.. its really beautiful :) Anyway.. “the promise” is indeed a touching movie.. i cried, haha.. your hard work with the others is appriciated :) you have a cat right? i have the same cat breed as you, a munchkin right? hahaha.. and my birthday is also the same month as you.. what a coincidence :) but mine is on the 13 Aug.. here wishing you: hope your career let you soar to greater heights!

my cat is abt 2 years old…
mine is around 1 plus going to two :) and about my munchkin, filobaby.. i tried to upload my pictures on FB, but it failed.. i’ve seen pictures with you and your cat.. really cute :) but mine, the fur’s a little darker than yours.. quite fat too, even fatter than yours. Love the pictures you uploaded! Really like the simplicity of the love between Shanshan and Wenyuan. Iit did took me some time to digest the ending, but after truly understanding the meaning of the naming the painting “四十八分钟后的微笑”, I think it is really deep and beautiful even though though both of them didn’t end up together.
